Título:"Consensus Based Distributed Phase-Shifted Model Predictive Control to achieve SoC Balance of CHB Converters for BESS integration"

Resumen: The growing adoption of renewable energy underscores the significance of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in addressing power imbalances arising from the variable and intermittent nature of these sources. Cascaded H-bridge (CHB) converters emerge as highly appealing choices for BESS applications, primarily due to their built-in modular structure. Nevertheless, the extent of this modularity is constrained by the prevailing use of highly centralized control schemes. To address this issue this research proposes a consensus based distributed phase-shifted model predictive control scheme for CHB converters in BESS applications. The proposed control scheme uses controller area network (CAN) buses to achieve intracluster state of charge (SoC) balance, intercluster SoC balance and submodule fault tolerance. The proposed scheme distributes the computational load among many local controllers and uses local measurements and communication to achieve the global control objective

Para las palabras al cierre estará presente el profesor Félix Rojas, jefe de Área - Programa Magíster.

Habrá colación y bebida para los asistentes por lo que la asistencia será controlada. Los esperamos a las 13:30 hrs. Si vas a participar, favor inscríbete a continuación:
